This bilingual edition of Céline Delbecq's play, Beech, was produced for the 34th International Theatre Institute (ITI) World Congress, organized in Yerevan (Armenia) in November 2014. This project, an initiative of the ITI's Belgian Centre, was carried out in partnership with the Belgian publisher, Lansman Editeur.. Time went much too fast between child-hood and adulthood and events snowballed. But how do we give up the dreams that have been shattered against the walls of what can be a very harsh reality ? How do we finally get rid of an inner self who wants payback for the things that didn't work out as planned ?. The Child imagined herself dripping with costume jewellery and sequins. The Woman ends up bogged down by work in a book-shop, which she likes... for want of anything better. When the two of them come face to face, they have no choice but to try and come to terms with each other... or kill each other..
