D. Bertarelli et Y. Guichard ont créé ensemble en 2011 l'écurie de voile professionnelle Spindrift racing. En cinq ans les marins de Spindrift racing ont participé aux plus grandes épreuves à la voile et se sont attaqués aux records les plus prestigieux.

The Spindrift adventure . Spindrift is an English word shared by oceans and mountains that describes the wind-swept spray at sea and fresh, powdery snow whipped up by the wind.. Dona Bertarelli and Yann Guichard created Spindrift racing in 2011 as a professional sailing team through which they could share their passion for the sea, sailing and competition.. Over their first five years Spindrift sailors have participated in the biggest races and attempted the most prestigious records.. The team has also reached out to younger generations through Spindrift for Schools, supporting teachers to educate on the rich and diverse oceans, but also on their fragility.. Talented photographers have captured this history and the result is this beautiful book that almost tastes like the sea. It follows a course through unforgettable memories - the incredible highs, the lows, challenges, sweat, storms, wilderness, albatross, courage, tenacity, human spirit and teamwork.. Spindrift racing will be donating all proceeds from the book to the lifeboat station at Auray, Trinité-sur-Mer..
